How to Bypass Web Restrictions
2652 views, 0 comments

After reading this, you will be able to bypass most basic web restrictions in less than 5 seconds.

Things you'll need:

  • Windows XP
  • 5 seconds
  • A Computer
  • Working Internet
Open up NSLOOKUP by going to START>RUN>type: NSLOOKUP which will open up a black box that looks very similar to the command prompt but with additional information.

Type in the website [In NSLOOKUP] you are trying to get to that is being blocked by the web restriction service.

Copy ONE of the IP addresses that come up for the site.

Paste that IP Address into the URL bar inside of your internet browser.

Tips and Warnings:

  • Though you have still bypassed it, watch for micro managing Net Admins that watch every computer as they can still see the site regardless of you using the IP or not.
  • This trick also works if your router has DNS disabled (port 53) as the DNS only controls what the IP address's Domain is called.
  • Bypassing network restrictions for school is covered under the Zero Tolerance policy and if caught you may face suspension or even expulsion.
  • Network Admins for major companies may take disciplinary action against you if you are caught bypassing network restrictions at your place of work.
  • This may not work with some network configurations and some web sites.
